(Ponte Vedra Beach, FL) After more than 35 years working in sales and marketing with major Fortune 500 companies, Abby Vega was frustrated and tired.

“I was looking for a deeper meaning and purpose of my life. At the time, I'd also recently experienced several deaths, my mother, and friends who were close to my age. It's easy, as you age, to convince yourself that you're too old for major life changes, but I decided that I needed to take a risk to find a real purpose in my life” stated Abby Vega.

Resigning from her six-figure job, she bought a sno-cone truck - Kona Ice and began her pursuit of true joy, happiness, and true purpose for all her experience and training.

A Sweet Route to Happiness

“I wanted to have more fun. Go on adventures. Try lots of new things. Laugh like a child at myself and make others laugh with me and at me” according to Vega. “I wanted to work to help more people, not just promote my career. I wanted to see what it felt like to make money for the pure purpose of giving it away and to test whether I could make little to know money and be happier than I ever imagined.”

In her book, Sno-cone Diaries, readers can see the summation of her life as a middle-aged woman who despite “having it all” - a great husband, two wonderful children, a successful career, friends, and a beautiful home in Ponte Vedra Beach - realized that on the inside she was lost, sad, lonely, and unhappy.

Her goals are to inspire readers to pursue their personal dreams, ignite their passions, and follow their own path to bliss.

Her book, Sno-cone Diaries was officially published in December 2016. In partnership with Andiamo in Ponte Vedra Beach, January 15, 2017, Abby released her book and personalized over 100 copies for friends and fans.
